We build MCP servers.
What is Model Context Protocol?
MCP is Anthropic's open standard for connecting AI models to external tools, APIs, databases, and services. It replaces the old approach of stuffing context into prompts with a structured protocol that gives Claude typed access to real systems.
When Claude has an MCP server, it can query your database, call your APIs, read files, trigger workflows — with proper auth, typing, and logging. No prompt hacking, no leaking raw secrets into context.
What we build
Database connectors
Read, query, and mutate your Postgres, Supabase, or MongoDB. Typed schemas. Row-level security respected.
API integrations
Give Claude structured access to your REST or GraphQL APIs. Auth handled server-side. No keys in context.
Internal tool access
Let Claude use your internal tools: CRMs, ticketing systems, analytics. With audit logs.
Custom agent tooling
Purpose-built tools for your specific AI workflow: multi-step pipelines, conditional logic, state management.
How it works
Discovery call (1–2 hours)
Map which systems Claude needs access to, define tool scope and security boundaries.
Schema design
Tool definitions, argument types, return shapes, error handling.
Build and test
MCP server implementation, Claude integration testing, edge case coverage.
Deployment and handoff
Hosted or self-hosted, documented, with your team trained.
Why 404 Technologies
We've built production MCP servers for AI agents operating at scale. We know where the protocol is straightforward and where the edge cases hide.
We also use Claude ourselves, daily, in our own products. That means we design MCP servers the way we'd want them — typed, auditable, with sane failure modes.
Pricing
MCP server development starts at $12,000 for a focused single-system integration. Multi-system builds, custom auth flows, and ongoing retainer arrangements are scoped separately.
